Very unique place. Desserts look like pieces of art. You can literally buy a tart and gift it to a friend - it's so aesthetic. We tried pear tart🍐 and a tiramisu - both were super nice.

Such an amazing assortment of chocolates. They are absolutely incredible and are very flavorful. They also have a wide variety of exceptional macaroons. Lastly, the gelato is delicious and the flavors change frequently. An absolute must visit when in Largo, Florida.

My husband received an assortment box of their chocolates as a Christmas gift. We shared them. Oh my word! These were literally some of the best chocolates we've ever had. My favorite was the WD64 and the Passion Fruit. I wish we had more. I know what I'll be asking for for birthdays and anniversaries now.

Amazing staff, quality chocolates and Gelato! Clean store with indoor seating. So many unique flavors you can go time and time again and try something new. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area! We got 4 types of Gelato and a box of mixed chocolates its so much to go through and guess the flavors! We see ourselves coming back time and time again!

Update: We returned a couple of times for the fig Gelato. Brought another friend yesterday to try it as well but they didn't have it. Asked to try samples of other ones to pick what they like. I tried a couple and went with the butterscotch, which was good. Two others in our party tried a couple and couldn't find what they liked. The store refused to give them another sample stating they only allow one per person so they left with nothing. Not sure how they expect people to pick their flavor without being able to taste. Small cup $5 or you can get a pint. Raspberry Leche, Peach Ginger, were just not as good as fig. I think they lost two local customers to a sample. First time at William Dean Chocolates. We saw some pastries on other reviews but they didn't have any today. We tried Bellini, Fig, and Hazelnut Gelato, so delicious! You MUST try their fig Gelato! It's the best one we've ever had! Nice location across from our other favorite, Seaweed Restaurant. We also tried their Tropical, Passion Fruit, and I believe Strawberry Caramel bon bons, all of which were amazing! I highly recommend.

If you want the best, go here. To die for chocolate. Top quality. I have used both in person and mail order. Can't say enough about them. Highly recommend.
